Soma Incarnon Genesis (2025)

Soma Incarnon Genesis is an item that is used to add Incarnon upgrades to the Soma or SomaPrime.

Acquisition[]

• Upon completion of The Duviri Paradox and Angels of the Zariman, and unlocking The Steel Path, players can earn SomaIncarnonGenesis from The Circuit's Steel Path to place on their Soma with the help of Cavalero in the Chrysalith. This Incarnon Genesis form grants it evolutions to a transformation and newfound strength.

Evolutions[]

• Installing the Soma Incarnon Genesis requires 20 PathosClamps, 60 RuneMarrow, and 60 Silphsela.
• When installed, the first Evolution tier is unlocked. The following Evolution tiers, their requirements for unlocking them, and their related perks, are shown below;
  • Each challenge additionally grants 5,000 affinity to the weapon, affected by Affinity Boosters.

Evolution I[]

• Headshots charge Incarnon Transmutation; Alt Fire transmutes. Switching back will expend any remaining charge.
• Gain increased Status Chance and Multishot while slowing fire rate.
  • Incarnon Form transforms into a full-auto shotgun with tight spread weighted slightly more towards Slash damage, 8 base Multishot, and increased base damage, Critical Multiplier, and overall Status Chance. However, it has reduced Critical Chance and Fire Rate and a very low Status Chance per pellet (2.5% for base, 3% for prime).
    • Incarnon Form can trigger Hata-Satya.
• Mode switching is not instantaneous and has an animation equal to the weapon's reload speed.
• Incarnon Form is activated by filling the Incarnon Transmutation gauge that appears under the reticule by achieving headshots and then pressing the Alternate Fire button. 20 headshots will completely fill the gauge. A full gauge is not required to activate Incarnon Form.
  • Charges generate only on headshots, and not other weakspots, such as the backpacks of most MOA variants. Similarly, shooting weakspots generated by either Sonar or DetectVulnerability in places other than heads will have no effect either.
  • Headshots on corpses do not build charges.
  • Individual Multishot bullets can build charges.
• Instead of drawing ammunition from its reserves, the Soma's Incarnon Form uses a separate "magazine" with each charge producing 10 rounds to a maximum of 200. Once all ammunition is expended, the Soma reverts to its normal form.
  • Incarnon Form's magazine is not affected by mods.
  • Incarnon Form is not affected by Ammo Efficiency (such as EnergizedMunitions).
  • Charges and Incarnon Form persists through all activities, such as holstering, bleedout, or being disarmed. However, charges and Incarnon Form are removed upon death.
• Swapping to and from Incarnon Form will fully reload the normal form's magazine.

Evolution II[]

• Unlock Challenge: Complete a solo mission with this weapon equipped.
• Perk 1: Fortress Salvo:
  • Increase Damage by +12.
    • Damage increase is applied per pellet, giving Incarnon Form a total base damage increase of +96.
  • With Armor Over 450: +4 Punch Through.
• Perk 2: Fortifying Bloodshed:
  • Increase Damage by +10.
    • Damage increase is applied per pellet, giving Incarnon Form a total base damage increase of +80.
  • On Bleed Kill: +100 Overshield.
    • Grants shields, which can be overshields.

Evolution III[]

• Unlock Challenge: Kill 100 enemies with this weapon's Incarnon Form.
• Perk 1: Kinetic Battle:
  • -50% Weapon Recoil.
• Perk 2: Practiced Grip:
  • Increase Accuracy by +50%.
• Perk 3: Rapid Reinforcement:
  • +50% Reload Speed.

Evolution IV[]

• Unlock Challenge: Kill 10 enemies within 8 seconds 10 times.
  • Only kills from the Soma counts.
• Perk 1: Fresh Havoc:
  • On Reload From Empty: Increase Damage by +6. Stacks up to 2x.
    • Buff lasts permanently throughout the mission but is lost on death.
    • Switching to Incarnon Form from empty will also trigger the buff.
    • Damage increase is applied per pellet, giving Incarnon Form a total maximum base damage increase of +96.
• Perk 2: Fatal Affliction:
  • +40% Damage per Status affecting target.
• Perk 3: Zeroed In:
  • Increase Critical Damage Multiplier by +0.6x.
    • The bonus increases base Critical Damage Multiplier and is therefore added before mods are applied.

Notes[]

• SomaPrime's Incarnon Form circular magazine does not form a full circle, unlike normal Soma.

Known Bugs[]

• GalvanizedAptitude ignores the innate damage of both Evolution II perks as well as Evolution IV: Fresh Havoc.
